DGCA DGR Training in India After 12th: What Students Should Know

Students interested in aviation, airport operations, cargo or ground handling may encounter dangerous-goods training as part of their professional development. However, DGR training is function-specific, so students should understand the role they want before selecting a particular function.

For example, Speedwings lists Function 7.4 for personnel handling cargo in warehouses and loading or unloading ULDs, while Function 7.5 focuses on passenger and crew baggage, boarding areas and direct passenger contact.

Students can therefore first choose a broader aviation or cargo pathway and then add the DGR function relevant to their intended duties. The important factors are eligibility, role relevance, training duration, certification and practical applicability.

Before enrollment, confirm the current course requirements and whether the selected function matches the job responsibilities you are preparing for.
